May. 27th, 2005 @ 09:26 am What an INTERESTING night.........
Went to the new Steve Wynn casino again last night. (Wynn Las Vegas) I really like that casino. It is not normal for people who live here to actually go down to the strip once a week, but my and my parents have been since Wynn opened at the end of April. We went to see the new Cirque du Soliel show called La Reve. It got horrid reviews since it opened. Luckily we had free tickets so it didn't matter to us if it sucked! The theatre is absolutely amazing! It is theatre in the round with stadium seating. So you don't have to watch the fat bald guy in front of you the whole night! Down in the center is a giant circular pool with lights and a hydrolic stage. Throughout the whole show the water changes color and the stage goes up and down. The ceiling opens up and acrobats free fall from this probably 300 foot drop. As far as cirque goes though, the acrobatics were not as good as "O" of "Mystere" but none the less I liked it. The music was good and the cast was very, lets say built! It was all about weird dreams that people have throughout a normal nights sleep. It was just a beautiful show. I felt like I knew what the writer/director was trying to convey. You have to be able to see the beauty in all creative arts and just accept them for what they are.
We tried to gamble a little after-wards and it did not go so well. Those machines just suck my money in. People around me have bells and whistles going off and I just paid Steve Wynn $200 dollars I believe he could live without!
We also realized at dinner that the new baby could very well be born on the day that my grandmother died 9 years ago. I'am not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing. WE need to consider naming her after my grandma if it happens. I always wanted to have my daughter named after her, Flora Grace. Grace was my nanny's twin sister. My grandmother was the most beautiful person in the whole world. Maybe this is a sign from her. I will leave it at that.

May. 24th, 2005 @ 08:15 pm TELEVISION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!
I think I am obsessed with TV. We have a tv in every room of the house. The TV downstairs has a TIVO, and you can record and watch 2 different things at once. Then our tv in our bedroom has a tivo. Here is a good example of what I am going through:
Tonight:

American Idol at 8:00

The Contender Finale 8-10

Rob and Amber's Wedding 9-11 (I know this is corny, but Rob rocks. And If i were a lesbian I would want her to be my girlfriend!!) Plus he is from Boston, my home town.

The lost Finale is also on, I have never seen an episode but was hoping to catch the finale. I heard it is a good show.

I dont even know where to start watching theses fucking shows. I am so confused. I guess watching TV is my only time to relax without having the kids bug us every 2 seconds and the baby is asleep. Maybe my body knows that once baby number 4 arrives in October, that my life is over and to catch up on TV now because it will be years before I see anything ever again.

I guess my life is pretty easy though. If all I have to complain about is what to watch on TV. TOO BAD!!!

Well, I figured I would not get so lucky twice in a row. We were told 4 weeks ago that the baby is a boy and that little Franky would have a brother. Boy, (no pun intended) were we wrong!! Its a girl. I am excited. 3 girls and 2 boys isnt sucha bad thing. I wanted Franky to have a brother, but who knows maybe we will try again in a couple years. We have decided to name the baby after Tim's dad and my dad. Michaelanne Glenn Melody. Kind of a neat idea for a girl. Too many boys are named after their fathers and grandfather's. Hence why we named Franky "Francis" after my grandfather. But I like the idea for a girl. I know she will be beautiful, just as Veda and Olivia were as infants.
Leaving to go to Aurora in 2 weeks for our yearly trip to see Grandma and Grandpa. We always have such a great trip. Driving across country from Las Vegas to Chicago with the kids is so much fun. We always get to do things we would not normally do as a family. I believe it brings us closer. Plus it is such a beautiful drive. Of course traveling when you are 6 months pregnant is not easy but its been done before. Just as long as it isn't to hot in Aurora we will be fine. I'm not looking forward to coming home though, when it is 115 degrees out and I cant go anywhere. I will survive though!
